Journey Maps

Date: 9/12/2019

Based on my own experience of finding a job, I did this first journey map for my job journey. I felt the pain points of this journey is to collect all the information and comparing the jobs.

Since I might get the resource from the different places, such like career website, asking friends or directly to the official website… it is hard to collect all of them and their information at one place. Sometimes, there are too much similar choices which might disturb my decisions.

Maybe it is good if we could collect them at one place, or in the form of a schedule which could help us easy to figure out the due date. Have more useful filters to help us filtrate the information.

After that I interviewed my friend and the result is quite different. The pain point for her is about waiting for the result of the application.

Our pain points is quite difference since she has a clear goal when she searches the job, but I could not have clear ideas for that. Therefore, I need to compare all the informtaion of the jobs and find the one that is the most suitable for me.

However, both of us feel problem when we were waiting the result. I think maybe there is a schedule or a place for the applicant to recieve update together, maybe they could exchange their ideas and preparing for interview. It is also a good way to help them to new more friends and reduce the nervous.
