"Trade a marble for a candy"

INTRO

The goal of this design is to design a installation for halloween.

Our ideas were started from finding the origins of the Halloween. One thing that really inspired us a lot is "On Halloween, the souls of the died persons will finding there way home." We want to tell a story of Nemo about how he goes back home and finally get the candies from his home.

Collaboration Work:

Cooperated with Zhoujian Sheng. Both of us takes  charge of the design, fabrication and development.

PROCESS

  1. Brainstorming+ Research: Doing researches about Halloween (origins, activities...) and collecting ideas about design.

  2. Concept design: Sketching ideas and the form of design.

  3. Development & Design: Creating 3D assets for our design.

  4. Fabrication: Making models and connecting to the Arduino.

  5. Testing: Testing the combination of the composition. Inviting students, professors and our friends to test our design and collect their feedback.

  6. Final Show
